Use this conversion chart to convert recipe cooking times from a 950-watt to 1200-watt microwave oven. Other factors other than wattage may play a roll in the amount of time you need to microwave food for a particular recipe. For instance, a larger cubic footage of the inner cavity of your microwave oven may change the cooking times. This chart is meant to give you a good starting point for determining correct times. You may need to adjust times further when perfecting a recipe. Be sure to write the times that work for you in your microwave oven on the recipe so you will know what works when you make the same recipe in the future.
