Use and Care of Your Corelle Dishes
Corelle Dinnerware products are
ideal for warming, baking and reheating food in a microwave and in
preheated conventional and convection ovens. Wash by hand or in an
automatic dishwasher. Load dishes to keep them from bumping against
other items during the cycle. To remove gray or rust marks, clean
with non-abrasive cleanser, like
Corning Cleaner-Conditioner. Stoneware cups/mugs should not be
soaked, as water can be absorbed through the unfinished foot.
ALL STONEWARE & VITRELLE GLASS
CAN BE BROKEN. Plates and bowls (dinnerware) are made of Vitrelle
glass. Cups, Mugs and some accessories are made of stoneware.
Reasonable care should be taken in handling. Can be washed by hand
or in a dishwasher. Load carefully to avoid item-to-item contact and
bumping against other items during cycle. DO NOT allow Stoneware
products to soak/stand in water for an extended period of time; when
heal applied to such items, glaze cracking may occur. Gray "metal
marks" can be caused by metal utensils, silverware, exposed metal on
dishwasher racks and stainless steel sinks. Clean gently with a mild
cleanser recommended for rust removal such as Zud® or Bar Keepers
Friend®.
Corelle COORDINATES
dinnerware can go directly from refrigerator or freezer to a
microwave, convection, or preheated conventional oven. Add a small
amount of liquid to the vessel prior to baking foods that release
liquids while cooking. To loosen baked-on food, allow glass to cool,
then soak. If scouring is necessary, use only plastic or nylon
cleaning pads with nonabrasive cleaners.
