Microwave Cheeseburger & Stuffed Shrimp

On November 17, 1986, Mom appeared on Murphy in Morning, a popular morning show in the Tampa Bay area. She demonstrated two recipes from Microwave Cooking for One. Cheeseburger

4 oz. lean ground beef
1/4 tsp. black pepper

Shape beef into 5-inch pattie on paper towel and set aside. Heat 6" browning skillet 2 minutes (_____) at 100% power. Place pattie in skillet and cover skillet with paper towel. Cook 35 seconds (_____) at 100% power. Turn pattie over and sprinkle with pepper. Replace paper towel. Cook 15 seconds (_____) at 100% power.

 

1 slice American cheese
hamburger roll (optional)

Discard paper towel. Place cheese on top of pattie. Cook 20 seconds (_____) at 100% power until cheese melts. Serve as is or on hamburger roll.
