Nordic Ware Graniteware for Microwave
Nordic Ware's Microwave Graniteware, is the perfect addition to any
kitchen. Except for the covers (which are suitable for the microwave
only), the cookware itself is safe to use in conventional, gas or
electric ovens up to 400°F. Use these convenient and handy casseroles
for cooking, reheating and storing meals. You can make your meals
ahead of time and freeze them for quick meals for the next week.
Made of Nordic Ware's exclusive
Gemstone material, this easy-to-clean, unbreakable and chip-proof
cookware goes from freezer to microwave to
table to dishwasher. Gemstone efficiently transmits microwave energy
to the food. This means even cooking and baking, less stirring and
rotating, fewer hot spots and dead zones.
Use and Care Instructions
To insure long life and satisfactory
performance from your Nordic Ware microwave cookware, follow
these simple, common sense instructions:
-
Before using
cookware for the first time, wash in hot, soapy water and
rinse well. After each use, wash by and or in the
dishwasher.
-
Cooking
surfaces should be lightly oiled for first-time usage. Treat
the surface as you would any other fine surface.
-
This cookware
is designed for microwave and conventional gas or electric
oven use only up to 400°F. DO NOT use on top of range or
under broiler or browning elements.
-
DO NOT carve
or cut on cookware surface. Handle with pot holders, as food
does transfer heat to the microwave cookware. To protect
table, use a hot pad or trivet.
-
Expect
microwaving times to vary slightly due to available power
settings on different models and brands of microwave ovens
and variations in household current. To assure current
availability, your microwave should not share current with
any other major appliance.
-
Before of hot
steam when removing coverings from foods which have been
baked in the microwave.
-
Should food
become baked on, soak in soapy water. Cleaning pads made
especially for non-stick finishes may be used. DO NOT use
steel wool, harsh abrasives or scouring powders.
-
Although more stain resistant than most
other microwave cookware, if severe stains should occur,
soak in a 50/50 solution of liquid bleach and water. Wash
and rub lightly with vegetable oil to restore color.

It is a very good cookbook and I have yet to find a recipe that didn't turn out as it was supposed to.—Norm Peterson, Arizona
My hubby keeps looking in the cookbook, and asks "when will you cook this recipe?"—Lori Hamby, Florida |
