Pfaltzgraff Mondrian Christmas
Introduced in 2006. At last, a Christmas pattern that unabashedly manifests the bold colors and abstract designs of modern art. Based on the works of Dutch artist Piet Mondrian, this hand-painted stoneware and glass collection from Pfaltzgraff shows cheerful, asymmetrical blocks of color separated by raised black lines. Simplistic trees and snowflakes add the seasonal touch. While the stoneware durably stands up to microwave and dishwasher use, the etched glass goblets and dessert plates are best washed by hand. Any of the Mondrian sets, including unique square mugs and oval dessert plates, make fantastic gifts.
