Microwave Pies

Below is the list of recipes contained in the Pies chapter of Microwave Cooking for One. This is the only chapter for which a free recipe is not provided. Take some time and explore the other chapters, and try some of the recipes contained in them. Once you've tried a few of the recipes, you'll want the entire collection!

About this Chapter

Today several different types of individually packed pie pieces are available in stores. The frozen type just need to be unsealed and heated for 30 seconds. Apple, pecan, chocolate and cherry are some of the variations available in this form. However, my personal favorites are not available as frozen pieces, so I’ve devised the following recipes.

The pie crust recipe makes enough dough for one small pie or one batch of tartlets. The pie recipes are intended as starting points from which you can go on to create pies with your favorite fillings.

Pie Crust

Cottage Cheese Pie

Peanut Butter Pie

Sweet Potato Pie

Pecan Tartlets

We have not included a recipe in this section because first, we’d have to include two recipes, pie crust and another, and second, these recipes are a little more complicated than those in other chapters. You’ll want to try the easier recipes before attempting these.
