Spiegelau Glassware

The earliest known reference to Spiegelau dates back to 1521, almost to the time of the discovery of the American Continent. The Spiegelau Crystal business is located in the small town of Spiegelau in the heart of the Bavarian Forest about 40kms north of Passau. Being one of the most picturesque parts of Germany, this area has in recent times become as much a center of tourism as well as a traditional center of glassmaking.
