Studio Nova Dinnerware
The Studio Nova brand is a member of the Mikasa family. Created
in 1984 and dedicated to serving the fashion-minded consumer, Studio Nova continuously
offers a successful variety of transitional and contemporary designs of superior quality
which is suitable for any lifestyle. From the contemporary to the traditional, the quality
of these patterns will prove fitting for any occasion.
In 2004, Truck Product Architecture, the New York based design firm,
created its first line for the Studio Nova brand. The warmly modern Truck Collection was
launched at the 2004 Chicago Housewares Show and includes uniquely designed dinnerware,
flatware, stemware, barware, accessories, kitchenware and small furnishings.
Jennifer Carpenter, founding partner and Director of Design at Truck,
developed the line with the rigor and attention to detail that is indicative of practicing
architecture for almost ten years. "We take material and structural cues from the built
environment and reinterpret them for the product scale" she explains. With its dedication
to contemporary excellence in dining, Studio Nova is highly qualified to meet Truck's
exacting production standards and shares Truck's belief in good, accessible design. "All
of Truck's work is designed for people who, like me, want to be surrounded by smartly
designed products that are seriously functional but also fun — and fairly priced."
— states Jennifer.
The Final Studio Nova Dinnerware Patterns
At the end of 2007, the Studio Nova line of patterns was discontinued by Mikasa and a new line of
dinnerware called
Gourmet Basics
was introduced. The patterns below were the last Studio Nova
patterns produced, and some remaining items in these patterns are
still available from Mikasa. The good news is most items are at discounted prices. So if your
favorite pattern is listed, stock up now!

It is a very good cookbook and I have yet to find a recipe that didn't turn out as it was supposed to.—Norm Peterson, Arizona
My hubby keeps looking in the cookbook, and asks "when will you cook this recipe?"—Lori Hamby, Florida |

Please note: There are several
thousand external links throughout the pages of this site. To make
navigating simpler for you, we have set up the links so that when you
click on the first one, a new browser window will open. When you click
on another link, the link will appear in the same window replacing the
information of the first link (except eBay auctions, which open a new
window with each item clicked on). This way, as you navigate through this
site, you will not have to constantly keep closing browser windows. All
links to other pages within this site will open in the current window.
If a window does not open when you click on a link, check to see if you
are running a pop-up blocker, which you may need to turn off in order
for the new browser windows to open.
Except when you order Microwave
Cooking for One by mail, we do not actually sell items
directly from this site. Instead, we have done all the work to find the
microwave information you are looking for on the Internet, and
consolidated it here at this site. When you click on a link for a
product, you will be taken to the site that actually offers the product
for sale. In some instances, we earn a small commission from the site
you visit. This is how we are compensated for the work we have done to
bring the information to you. Thank you for supporting this site by
making your purchases via the links you click here.
