Wonderful World is uncomplicated, bright, colorful and spontaneous. It appeals in particular to the young and young-at-heart, as well as to families with children, who find fun in experimenting and combining and are always open to new ideas and suggestions where homes and furnishings are concerned. It takes bright, modern stimuli into consideration and furthermore enables the generation of a totally unique identity offering numerous variations. An interpretation of the subject "Modern Ethno" has therefore been chosen for Wonderful World — inspired by the wealth of facets and colors found in this world's folkloric art.
Initially introduced in 2004 in three color collections of Wonderful World Black, Wonderful World Orange and Wonderful World Yellow, and two patterns using South American Wonderful World Ipanema and African Wonderful World Timbuktu motifs, in 2005 Villeroy & Boch added new color selections to the pattern family: Wonderful World Blue, Wonderful World Green, Wonderful World Pink, and Wonderful World Red. All color collections and patterns can be combined with each other to suit the mood. In this way, new and totally personal arrangements can be produced over and over again, each one as unique as the person who created it.
