Looking for glass bowls with handles and lid.

Hi. I own a couple of glass bowls, which I find ideal for microwave cooking. I've found many bowls in stores and online but none with all the features I like. These bowls are round, with glass tabs on either side which serve as handles. When cooking in the microwave, these handles are the last to get really hot, enabling one to pick up the dish after cooking without burning oneself. The bowls come with a glass top, which has a glass knob which similarly stays cooler than the bowl and allows removal without getting burned. They come in several sizes, from 1-quart on up. Do you know where I can find these?

Thanks for your help.

George

Hi George,

Do you know the name of the manufacturer of the bowls? Sometimes it is written on the bottom.

From your description, they sound like the casseroles manufactured by Pyrex or Anchor Hocking. Take a look at some of the items in our Pyrex or Anchor Hocking sections, and see if they look like what you describe.

Hi George,

Please check out our Masterchef which has a 4 liter dome cover made from a high grade engineering material which can withstand 400F. Because this is plastic it will not get hot.
