Please note: We used to send out a monthly email reminder to enter the contest, but have decided to stop that practice. Instead, we will be posting reminders on our facebook page. Be sure to Follow Microwave Cooking for One on facebook by becoming a fan!

Our next drawing will be on or shortly after December 1, from all entries received through Midnight, November 30, 2009.

If you would like to receive a free conversion chart along with the book, be sure to indicate what wattage microwave oven you have. If you don't know the wattage of your oven, you can determine your oven's wattage by following the instructions at What Wattage Is My Microwave Oven? The cooking times for recipes in Microwave Cooking for One are for a 700-watt oven.

RULES AND CONDITIONS

(1) Only one entry per person, please. Duplicate entry posts will be deleted. Only entries posted as a REPLY to this thread will be valid. PLEASE DO NOT START A NEW TOPIC to enter the contest. If you make an error in your post, it is not necessary to make a second post to correct the error. Simply press the EDIT button in the upper right-hand corner of the post to make any corrections. For example, if you forgot to include the wattage of your microwave. PLEASE DO NOT SEND AN EMAIL TO ENTER THE CONTEST. There is no way to track email entires. Only posts to this thread will be considered valid entries.

(2) You can only win once. If you have already won a copy of Microwave Cooking for One, please do not enter and let others have a chance to win. Once you win, "Cookbook Winner" will be added as a tag to your user name. Any entries to this month's contest that have "Cookbook Winner" next to the name will be disqualified.

(3) Shipping is included with prize. (We mail U.S. Media Mail rate within the United States, and will choose the most economical but timely rate for other countries. We always ship postage paid, however, we have no control over any duties imposed by other countries once the package crosses the border. Winners are responsible for import duties charged by their country.)

(4) The thread will be locked at 12:00 midnight on November 30, 2009.

(5) One winner will be randomly drawn on or shortly after December 1, 2009, from all entries posted in this thread.

(6) Winner will be notified at the email address used to join the forum. (Winner will need to respond with a valid mailing address to ship the book to.)

(7) Please DO NOT include any of your personal information, such as mailing address, email address, or telephone number in your post. Unfortunately, there are unscrupulous people who use programs to mine the Internet for email addresses and personal information. Posting your email address for all to see also makes it visible to these programs that harvest email programs from the Internet so that they can bombard you with spam. (I'm sure you're as sick and tired of getting spam as I am, so no need to help increase it.)

Once you've entered the contest, we hope you'll stick around a while and participate in the forum. Perhaps you have a favorite microwave recipe you'd like to share, or are looking for additional pieces for your favorite dinnerware set.
