Do the cooking times in the conversion chart apply when using 50% power?

Dear Rose,
Thank you for your email. The differences in the power settings do not affect a change in the cooking times. If a recipe says to Cook 1:00 minute at 100% power for a 700-watt oven, using the chart you would convert that to 42 seconds at 100% power for a 1000-watt oven. If another recipe for a 700-watt oven called for you to Cook 1:00 minute at 50% power, you would also cook 42 seconds, but at 50% power. The power levels slow down the cooking, but do not change the amount of time to cook.
