Block China and Crystal's innovations in design originate from the company's philosophy on the importance of tableware. To Block China and Crystal creating and designing dinnerware and crystal is a true art form. It is this philosophy that drives the company to innovations in the tabletop field.

Block China was purchased by Lifetime Brands in 2006. The following patterns were produced during the period following the purchase, but were retired on December 31, 2007. No new patterns have been introduced since that date.
