Designed by Portmeirion artist Julie Ingham, Dawn captures the soft pearliness of early mornings with light and airy designs in subtle silver and mauve gray. Abstract geometric patterns and beautifully drawn natural specimens have been created with reactive ceramic finishes giving a three-dimensional quality to everything from teacups to rice bowls, from ramekins to a large salad bowl. Blurring the boundaries between Eastern vs. Western design, hand crafted vs. factory produced, as well as the distinction between formal and casual dining, this line truly defines the spirit of contemporary design.
