Sango is the leading ceramics tableware manufacturer in Central Java, Indonesia. An area well known for its culture and skilled artisan in intricate design. Sango has been a leading supplier of fashionable tableware in the U.S. for over 50 years. Named for its home city in Japan, Sango was founded by the Igushi family, but has been a longtime holding of Seiko Corporation. In the US, the company is lead by Tom Igushi, the son of the founder, who has been around ceramics since he was knee-high.
