Johnson Brothers
Historic America by Johnson Brothers

Historic America by Johnson Brothers

Lovers of transferware, Americana, and rich sepia tones rejoice! This pattern looks like pricey antique store finds but is built to withstand life in a modern household. Introduced in the 1930s, as a way to unite Americans' patriotism with their love of fine English dinnerware. An intricate border is characterized by ivy, oak leaves and a cross-hatched background. This beautiful design is proof positive that patriotic doesn't have to mean red, white, and blue. Microwave and dishwasher safe.

Johnson Brothers Historic America was produced in a choice of blue, brown, green, multi-color and pink from 1930 to 1974. A second version in brown was produced from 2002 to 2003.
