Islay Platinum Fine China by Noritake
Named after Islay, the celebrated island of Scotland, famous for malt whiskey and beautifully desolate vistas. The pattern takes what was the beautiful golden color of malt whiskey, but instead translates it into a magnificent platinum rendition expanding the look reminding one of the waves of white foam lapping on the shores of the beautiful salt-sprayed land. The gold rim means this pattern is not safe for the microwave. Also available in gold-trimmed Islay.
