Naples Fine China by Royal Doulton
Elegant Naples bone china dinnerware might have been sculpted out of the finest cream-and-silver Italian marble. Embellished with gold trim and lavish neoclassical scrolls, the china shows narrow marbled edge bands on some pieces and fully marbled borders on others, with the occasional flower added for good measure. Though richly patterned, the mostly-white dinnerware and serving pieces present a neutral enough palate that suits formal dining any time of year. Designed by well-known UK china designer Alison Bellerby expressly for Royal Doulton, Naples conveniently cleans up in the dishwasher, with heat-free drying recommended so as not to soften the gold.
